Founded by Chemists in Santa Ana, California, Loud Spectrum pioneered the terpene category. While their products were known for purity and pharmaceutical-grade standards, their clinical brand and complex sub-brands were overshadowed by competitors with stronger presentation and emotional resonance. Despite having the best product, their brand no longer reflected it.

Formerly Medical Terpenes, the company faced an identity crisis. Their scientific name failed to resonate in a category that had shifted toward emotion, lifestyle, and culture. Virtues Media was brought in to rename, reposition, and rebrand them to regain market leadership.
